Grab your camera & Ready..Set ...GO!

We are just a little bit competitive. In a healthy, fun loving, serious kind of way.
While we were vacationing in Florida...after the storm passed and the sun came out, we signed up for a photo scavenger hunt contest. There were 25 "photos" on the list. We had 40 minutes to get as many photos as we could and get back before the deadline. We were told we would earn extra points for creativity and that we needed to read the description very carefully...or we might not get credit at all.

Here is a sample of our photo scavenger hunt scrapbook.
1. Everyone hugging a tree! 2.  Captaining a boat!  3.  In front of a fountain!  4.  Smelling the flowers!
5.  Making a sand angel!  6.  Everyone upside down!  7.  Dancing on the 18th hole! 8. On a slide!

It was a total blast! We didn't win because another team beat us back...and because I misread one of the photo descriptions...yes..I'll take the blame. Everyone had fun. No one complained and we have all these cute photos to show for it!

Kerri got to see these photos early on my instagram. She had to have been wondering what in the world we were doing. I'm new to using instagram as a social network...but if you are there, I'd love to see what fun photos you are instagramming too. Leave me a comment to tell me how to find you. I'm there as "jensinkpen"!

Happy Thursday!

I'm linking up here for alphabe-Thursday!
The letter for today is G!
Come on over and join the fun!

  1. I would love to do a photo scavenger hunt!!
    Great photos!!

  2. sounds like a fun activity, although I probably wouldn't get next to last place, being so slow. great photos.

hope you have a great day.

  3. What fabulous fun, Jen! I love these! What a wonderful idea!

  4. How fun! I like the picture at the 18th hole! Your boat is creative looks like Emily is holding a big 25 lb weight for a wheel...but she can't be holding that with one hand!

    1. It was the top of a little table...very light. Hahaha

  5. Love this idea. And love that your family pitched in as well. Happy summer♫♪

  6. How fun!! I had done that with Maddox on rainy days-- but on a less inventive scale:: "like something red" ...I would love to get in on this!

  7. That looks like so much fun - I'm filing the idea away for when the grands are a little older.

  8. great idea for a bachelorette weekend, family reunion, high school/college reunion, etc!

  9. How fun is that!? I may have to steal this idea for a neighborhood party. I'm on instagram but I rarely use it. I thought I'd be all over it, but I use my regular camera mostly. Maybe if I paid attention to the social part of it, I'd use it more so let's hook up. I'm MAWlovesBSD.

  10. Great Summer photos. I'm addicted to instagram.

  11. What a wonderful challenge! I love the idea of this!

    Great fun!

    And so clever!

    Thanks for sharing it.
