D is for Decorations....Halloween, of course!

I do not do much in the way of decorating for fall. I've been so inspired by many of you who decorate more for fall than I do for Christmas. Although, I still can't bring myself to spend the money or energy to go all out!
I did decide, however,  to do a little more with my pumpkins this year than just sit them on the front porch!

When it gets closer to Halloween, I'll put out some spider webs and hang a few ghosts in the trees....just in time for the trick-or-treaters, but for now, I'm really happy with my little pumpkins in costumes!

Enjoy the season...and all the candy!

I'm participating in Alphabe-Thursday!
Today's letter is the letter "D".

  5. For years, I didn't do any Halloween decorating, but now with Grandkids coming to Trick or Treat, I'm getting into the fun. These pumpkin costumes are right up my little bit of decorating with CUTE stuff alley!

  9. love the little witches shoes!!

My kids have been wanting to carve pumpkins for weeks. . .because we have so many. . .20 pumpkins when we counted! This would be a great way for them to have fun without rotten pumpkins on my hands!

  10. CUTE pumpkins! We're getting ours (finally!) this weekend! We're a little behind here! I'm amazed at what I see around blog land in terms of Halloween/fall decorating...wow! We do not have nearly that amount of decorations! I always think I will hit the stores the day after for discounted decorations...but then after the holiday...it's the last thing I want to spend money on!

  14. Very cute, Jen.

I have two mumkins (mums in a pumpkin planter)on my porch, but they still haven't bloomed. They have plenty of buds, but no blooms.

    Have a great day! La

  18. I usually bust out all the Halloween decorations on Oct 1st, but I learned my lesson last year that if I buy pumpkins early, they are rotten by Halloween from the heat/moisture.

So, now I'm feeling like I've waited this long, it's silly to get them out for such a short time. Kind of depressing. :( Maybe I'll get them out over the weekend.

  22. Such cute and clever decorations!

Do the pumpkins go bad slower if you do that instead of carving them?

We can barely get ours carved two days before. With the heat they just go bad almost instantly.

Thanks for a charming stop on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's letter "D"!

Your pumpkins and you get an A+ for the week.

    Thank you for linking.
