Sunny Florida turned rainy...but Golden!

So.... our trip to sunny Florida was anything but sunny.
Try rainy, cold and windy.
We did not come home with the suntans we had hoped for,
but we did come home with something else...something better!

A fancy trophy and 13 Gold Medals!
First place! 1 out of 25 teams!
Woot! Woot!
Happy Monday!

  1. Congrats to your daughter. That is wonderful! I guess first place is better than the sun, any day. :) Great photos.

  2. That is AWESOME!! Congrats to Emily and her team! Ok, dumb question...but I was wondering why Emily wears a different color uniform than everyone else? I'm sure there's a reason...I guess you can tell I don't know much about volleyball!

    1. Lots of people ask that same question. She plays a special position that can sub in for anyone on the back row without it being counted as a substitution...so for the ref to be able to keep up with it...the libero wears a dif color jersey. Hope that makes sense.
