Seems that's the only way I am going to get any snow around here this winter!
No more waiting and wanting. I had to take matters into my own hands. I decided it was time to see some snow, by golly....and snow we have! Right here and now! Even though it is 73 degrees outside...it is a snowy winter wonderland full of exciting things to see, do and eat in my little piece of the
Emily and I are off to sunny Florida tomorrow for another volleyball tournament. We will be stopping by Georgia Southern University to tour the campus and watch a little of their open gym volleyball practice!
While we are soaking up the rays down south....over here on my blog~ it will still be snowing...at least for the rest of the weekend!
Enjoy!
It's alphabe-Thursday! The letter of the week is "N". To read more, head on over to Jenny Matlock's blog!
Oh you are so lucky to be heading off to Florida! Good luck to Emily...hope you guys have fun!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I loved your post and the pictures are great. We have no snow here for sure but until last week I had a little winter wonderland on display in my living room.
ReplyDeleteIs this not the craziest winter ever? We finally got a whole day of snowing at our house and the next day it was nearly 50, so it melted and started to flood the unfortunate people at the lower elevations. ugh... Your photos are very fun. Enjoy Florida. Maybe it'll be snowing properly when you get back.
ReplyDeletelove seeing the little snowflakes again around here - and that first photo is just like last year's winter up here, i can't believe the difference from last year to this one, so bare this year!! sooo envious of that trip to florida - enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteNope - uh uh - no way....not snow for me, thank you. I'd trade beach sand for snow drifts any day!
ReplyDeleteJen, get yourself and your family over to my place. We can't seem to catch a break from this white crap. Forecast predicted less than 1 inch and we got about 1 foot. However, the was piled on top of what we got the week before and the week before that.
ReplyDeleteUsually people don't want snow. Too funny!~Ames
ReplyDeletewe have some snow here but it has been a mild winter
ReplyDeleteAh, la Neige. I like it better in pictures...
ReplyDeleteYou totally had me going there! I kept trying to figure out how you had snow!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Emily! Enjoy the sunny weather instead.
Enjoy Florida! I wish I was there with you. :)
ReplyDeleteFirst time reading your site today and I'm really enjoying it. Your snow looks like the storm that's in the middle of dumping on us today. Have a great time in Florida!
ReplyDeleteI hear you on this Jen! There are times I just want to sit by the window and watch the ground get blanketed in white!
ReplyDeleteI know there's a lot to be said for steady seasons of almost always nice weather...but still...
Thanks for a nifty little link for Alphabe-Thursday's letter "N".
