Sports fans!

This weekend held several big victories that were celebrated fully at our house.
First....On Saturday...the Allstar swim meet!
Zac's relay team came in FIRST place...by half a pool length. And Zac placed second in the breast stroke for his age group. For this...he earned two medals! No one in our family has ever earned a medal in the Allstar swim meet! He still says he is NOT swimming next year. Funny kid!
Then...on Sunday...I was awakened to the sound of screaming and cheering. I ran downstairs to find lots of boys, David and Emily celebrating the Women's USA Soccer  victory over Brazil! Did you see it? It was awesome, I heard.  So they immediately decorated their bodies and asked to have their photo taken. Hularious boys! And they would not let Zac be the exclamation point...so he decided to mess up their photo!

Do they not crack you up? They look like sports fan gangsters! Funny kids!
Happy Tuesday!
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I hope zac changes his mind. . .maybe you will have to resort to some more bribery next year!

My daughter was thrilled with the win as well!

  2. Oh you can just tell those three are going to be a whole lot of fun when they get older.
Zac did exactly what any kid who is denied his piece of the action would do. Well done Zac. And well done with the swimming.
Reverse psychology...tell him he won't be able to swim next year because it just won't work out. He'll want to do it.

  7. Aww, look at those cute kids turned sports fans! I love that they're already proudly displaying the USA across their chests. Although it won't be quite so innocent when they're in college and cheering for their school teams, eh? ;)

  9. Way to go, Zac!!! Isn't so hard as a parent not to want to make them do something you know they're good at? But, hey...if it's not their thing, there must be something else around the corner that is.

Today is our last meet. BB has been there since the crack of dawn. I'm sitting on the computer waiting for LB to wake up. I doubt she'll do her first event. But even if she was there she probably wouldn't have done it anyway. She hates having to dive in. She'll do backstroke, though.
