I-O-U the 4-1-1...the rest of the story, as promised!

So now for the rest of the story!
You remember last week. I was so super HAPPY about our big day with Cam Newton!
I promised to come back and share the rest of the story and today is the day!
The Panthers are locked out of the stadium...so they had practice at a local school. The practices had been open all week...but last Thursday, they were closed to the public...and open to the media.
Our friend, Kevin Donnalley, played for the Panthers when they went to the Superbowl!
He helps out with the team...and he was able to get us in!
We were sporting our Fan Wear....Auburn Tigers (where Cam played) and Carolina Panthers!

The boys brought 2 brand new footballs and were busy getting them signed by all of their favorite players...and then some!

Thomas Davis. He played for Georgia!

Jeremy Shockey, previously with the Saints!
Lots of other Panthers players. I need the boys here to tell me these names!

Jimmy Clausen, QB!

And then it was time for more fun and games. Emily was in the golf cart that was being pushed down field by the players. They were sweaty and smelly...but she loved it!

And then Kevin called in a huge favor and got Cam to take a photo with us!
Someone made this the wallpaper for our family computer.
(Not me...and I didn't know anyone else knew how to do that!)
I hope it isn't our Christmas card pic...but who knows!
Crazy fun!
Now you have the 4-1-1!
Today is alphabe-Thursday!
The letter of the day is I!

  2. Wow the boys must have been awestruck. Isn't it surreal to be around football players. My cousin married a professional football player and at the wedding The Agronomist at 6ft felt like a shrimp. The rest of us were lillliputians. Looks like you had a great time.

  12. Wow! What an amazing time for you all. What a lovely family you have. You certainly don't look old enough to have kids that old...I might believe an infant!

Just think, someday these footballs will show up on Antique Roadshow and hopefully they'll turn the volume up loud enough in the nursing home so I can hear the story of this lovely day!

Thanks for linking and thanks for the smile.

    A+
