I wonder what she wished for....

It has been almost 60 years....how could she possibly remember.
I know what I'm wishing for ....
I'm wishing my Mom a very Happy Birthday!

Don't you just love this photo...the table, the glasses, the clothing, the shoes,
the braids, the children, the clapping, the innocence, and the treasure that this photo is.
I am so glad to have it....and isn't she such a cutie!

Celebrating today!

  1. I love it! I have old photos of my mom as a child that I have framed and have in various locations at my house. I love getting a glimpse into that part of her.

  3. I have a picture of my dad on a motorcyle. I treasure it for some reason. He just looks so cool and young. This too is a special picture. It captured the perfect expression of happiness. Happy Birthday to your mom!

  7. Do you remember when girls wore dresses to parties? I so used to dress my girls up when they went to birthday parties, but it seems like most parties now call for jungle gym attire. I miss tafeta dresses, white patent leather shoes and ruffled socks. I think my boys go to parties in swim trunks, flip flops and a tee shirt now. UGHhh.
