East Coast Education!

Last Friday, we took a quick day trip to the East Coast!
My cutie pie cousin graduated from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington!
Since we were going to be so close, we knew we had to dip our toes into the Atlantic....even if it would only be for a few short minutes!
A few quarters in the parking meter gave us about 20 minutes to spend at Wrightsville Beach....and 20 min was more than we really had if we were going to be on time to the big event!
Then it was time to sit quietly for 1 and half hours while the students (and families) endured the speeches and long list of names waiting for that ONE special name to be called!!! As we looked around, we noticed many people enjoying the time to catch up on emails and texts and even play a few games on their cell phones. We brought a box of Sprees to keep the boys happy!
And then we took pictures...lots of pictures!!! Isn't she smart? ...and tall? ...and gorgeous?!
After the graduation we celebrated with a wonderful seaside dinner....before driving the 3 1/2 hours back home! Made for a long day...but we wouldn't have missed it!

Congrats Meghan! Way to go!
Still celebrating!

  6. Way to go cousin. What did she get her degree in? The water looks as warm as the water in San Diego was. I could only stand about 5 minutes of walking in it before I started losing feeling in my feet.
Looks like a fun time at the party, good times.
