Making the best of it!

Our swimming pool opened this weekend. It was suppposed to rain!
It had been cloudy all morning, but no rain....so we gathered our things and headed to the pool.
After a few minutes, it started to rain...really rain!
So we headed home.....to make the best of it.

Here's to hoping you can make the best of it, too!
So much fun!

  1. WOW! That is a TON of rain! How fun!!!

And your pool opens early in the season. Memorial Day has always been the earliest any pools I know of opening.

  8. I love how kids can find joy and happiness in playing in the rain still. It seems like it takes a lot to keep kids smiling nowdays. They get bored easily, they don't find joy in simple things, etc...I'm happy to see that is not the case here.
Looks like fun. It must have been warm out, yes?

  16. Thank you so much for stopping by and the comment you left. This Mom thing is tough!! I was browsing around and saw this post and had to comment here. This might be my kids favorite thing to do! Play in the rain!! Maybe it's just getting wet at unexpected times?? Just tonight I was watering some plants outback and my husband came out and was teasing me about something he asked me to take care of and I didn't do that great of a job so I squirted him with the hose. Before you know it the three of them have cups filled with water and trying to attack me before I squirt them to death. I don't know that we've ever laughed harder!! I'll let you know if I find "pause" ;)
