A JOB and a "B" in Spanish!

Eat More Chicken!

A few weeks ago, I posted about Emily wanting a job for Christmas.
After 1 group interview, a phone interview and yet another interview in person,
Emily landed the job at Chic-fila!
She is very excited and we are excited for her!
Welcome to the work place!
Congrats!

Her other wish was for an "A" in Spanish.
Sadly, that one didn't make into the stocking.
A "B" isn't so bad...especially when she worked really hard to get it!

Happy Saturday!

Coming soon:
Cute pics of Emily in her Chic-fila uniform
with her head sticking out of the drive through window.

  1. Good job, Emily! It's hard to work and go to school at the same time. My older boys tried it and then decided to just work in the summers. They also had the coolest jobs- they each woked at a the kayake rentals on the beach. Not too bad for a teeneage boy, but quite distracting. There's no way they could have done that and concentrated on schoolwork :)
    I love Chik fila.

  2. Way to go Emily. Let's see how long it takes before you stop eating Chick-fila. I'm not a fan of donuts. I used to work in a donut shop when I was in high school and came to gag when I smelled donuts.
My Emily is desperately looking for a job. I think she even tried Chic-fila, as well as the movie theatre, ice cream shop (hope she gets that one) Michael's, Tattered Cover Books, etc... The problem is, there are so many people out of work now that adults are taking up the jobs that tenns would normally have. In the meantime, I continue to fund it all.

  4. We haven't ventured into the workforce with eldest yet. Maybe this coming summer. I remember my first job at McD's. It was so nice to have some spending money of my own. The bight green neon polyester hostess uniform, however... I could have done without.
