A few good....MOVIES!

If it were up to me, we would cancel our cable television. My husband would be in full agreement. We do not watch TV. If we want to watch an episode, we watch it on Netflix or ABC.com. We really don't need all the fancy channels. My daughter watches Gossip Girl and whatever else she watches on her iphone, so I know she doesn't need cable. Oh, but there is one,the sports fan of the family, that is in full disagreement. He cannot live without ESPN. So for now, we will keep it, I guess....for now. We are looking at our options. We are all learning to sacrifice on different levels. It is hard. We will see how far we get with this.

Over the last few weekends, however, we have found a little time to chill in front of the TV to watch a movie or 2 together. Mostly because of the abundance of rain we have been having. We spent forever looking through Netflix for a movie that we could all agree on. Dif-ee-cult. We found a few gems hidden in the recommendations.

Movie Night by jensinkpen featuring Target finds! 

No! I haven't seen it yet!
You remember, I was planning to see it on opening night at Midnight.
Of course, when I tried to get tickets, they were completely sold out...like a month before!
Then we were out of town for a volleyball tournament, then there was work (where I won 2 movie tickets at an employee forumn thingy - Woot! woot!), then out of town again.
So this is the week! I have a date with Jonathan. To see Hunger Games. We will be in the theater all alone I guess...because everyone else has already seen it... but oh well, we are going!
And I  am super excited!

I never go...not usually anyway, but this time, I am thinking I might!
March 23, 2012....12:00 am ...midnight.
This is so unlike me. I won't have any problem staying awake...remember I work night shift.
But I just can't wait to see it.
And I think I might make it a date night with Jonathan, the only other one of us that has read it.
